Tab_Hoarder_ A $2,000 robot vacuum that also mops. I named him Gary. He cleans the entire house while I'm at work, and I've started apologizing to him when I leave shoes in his way. He's the most productive member of this household and technically lives on the floor

smc642 I got sober and my husband bought me a very expensive coffee machine for my 6 month sober anniversary. Every morning it grinds my beans, and makes me an exceptional cup of coffee. That was 2 years ago and I'll be 3 years sober in March 2027 one day at a time.

Jesse_berger A good office chair. I have a Steelcase Leap V2. $1500 I didn't exactly pay for mine. I bought one at a used furniture store for like $400. Then while walking my dog I found the same chair on the side of my building. A couple hours later, it was still there. So I grabbed it.

memento-mori-3 HOT TUB. My wife and I bought a two person hot tub 8 years ago and we use it almost every single night. Nothing is more relaxing than 20 minutes in bubbly, hot water. It gives us a great opportunity for some good conversation time without distractions as well. 10/10 would recommend.

raustin33 You don't have to spend $1k - though it's easy to once you're hooked - but an analog watch. Why? It keeps me out of my phone. Checking the time on my phone many times means getting sucked into a notification. Same problem with smart watch.

shinkouhyou A $5000 Bernina sewing/embroidery machine. I sew a lot as a hobby, and with cheaper machines, I felt like I spent more time troubleshooting problems than I spent actually sewing... the Bernina just does what it's supposed to do.

juliuspepperwoodchi Not even that expensive, but I just bought an expensive Breville coffee maker, programmable with built in grinder and a hopper so you don't have to weigh out the beans or anything. Worth every penny. Well made, will last many years, way cheaper than buying coffee out, and DELICIOUS plus insanely convenient. Hot coffee ready the moment I wake up.
